My nails are............RED

okay so on my trip to Ulta i knew i wanted some nail polish because my black was out and as everyone knows my nails are ALWAYS, and i mean ALWAYS black. wellllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll i got a few different colors, plus black! kinda wanted to expand my horizons hahah anyways, i just painted them red a few days ago and i love them!! maybe i am growing up hahah

I've been on a hiatus!

okay sooooooooooooooooo it's been awhile since my last post but last week was so crazy and busy for me i did not have a lot of time on my hands. tuesday,wednesday, and thursday i was staying in des moines at the Staybridge Suites (uh king size bed and suite was AMAZING) for a 3 day class for work. i got to order takeout and had my meals paid for so it was pretty great, plus my mama came and stayed  the night with me on wednesday night so it was kinda fun. PLUS i got to make trips to Ulta and Target so that was kind of awesome. anyways, so when i got back from that it was the weekend and now it is Monday morning so here we are.

What's Eating Gilbert Grape

I had never seen this movie before but it was on MTV this morning and I watched it and LOVED it! Sooooooooo gooooood! Great performances! Definitely going to have to pick this movie up! In the film Gilbert tries to balance taking care of his mentally disabled little brother Arnie (great performance by Leonardo DiCaprio), his obese mother, and his romances.

Sleep?

so on sunday i had to work from midnight to noon, which in itself SUCKED, and then i went ahead and went to a birthday party at Max's grandparents house for his little second cousin. We went sledding, had cake, you know, all the birthday stuff. I don't think Max and I got home til like 5 and i went straight to bed haha he said i fell asleep within seconds of closing my eyes. Let me tell you though it is two days later and not getting any sleep that day is still kicking my ass big time...soooooooo glad it is my "friday" because i am probably going to be sleeping my weekend away, sorry bout it!

Beauty Rush.

i can't get over how much i love the Victoria's Secret Beauty Rush lip gloss so i just thought i would share it with everyone. haha smells soooooooo good and i love the colors...they don't really taste that bad either according to sam. the current "flavors" i have are I Want Candy (my fav!), Taffy Go Lucky, and Red Delicious. Anyways, they are fantastic!

mark Just Pinched Instant Blush Tint

getting into using make-up, trying to better my skills and all that but anyways, i got a lot of Mark make-up for christmas and i am really loving the Cheek Tint. I use bronzer too but this is like wayyyyyyyy better than just blush because it doesn't seem to rub off as easily. i usually just put some on my fingers and rub it on my apples and it stay a lot longer than regular blush..i spose thats because it is a tint? hahah anyways, i got it in the Cheeky shade.

Jason Aldean--My Kinda Party

samuel max and i loooooooooooooooooove jason aldean and we just got his cd last week. it.is.amazing! i know i know, i've been reformed to liking some country music.

BLONDE AGAIN!

Don't have a picture yet, but just excited that I have some blonde back!!!!! I missed it! We didn't go all-over color because my hair was just so dark but just put in some highlights and going to add some more gradually over the weeks :)

AMAZING LOTION!!!

Seriously, this stuff is amazing....you think your skin is soft until you use this and realize that it was no where near to how soft it could be. (says it repairs a weeks worth of damage in one night)...anyways, i put this one before i got to sleep and it has a really nice jasmine or like lavendar smell which makes it nice to go to sleep too..anyways, like i said i put this on before bed and it is as simple as that. my skin has never looked or felt so good.

1 Year Together

Yesterday was kind of a special day. It was 1 year since Sam and I had started seeing eachother.  Although we weren't official that whole time, seeing as I was a little scared of wanting to be serious with someone, we still were seeing eachother and getting to know eachother and it has been a fantastic and the most amazing and loving year.  Sam is the most kind, funny, sexy man ever and I am so lucky to have him. We had dinner and spent the night playing xbox with another couple, Joseph and Stevie, so it might not have been what most people think as of romantic but it was perfect for me and suited us both. Love my Max :) he helped me see what was important in life and helped me see how great it is to love and care for someone and not be afraid of it.

Mark Get Bright Highlighter

Okay soooooooo this hightlighter is AMAZING. absolutely in love with it. got it for christmas from my moms and I use it every single day now.  it is fantastic under the eyes or even as a brow bone or cheek highlighter. i got a Light and Natural and I use both of them sometimes or just depending on what kind of makeup i'm wearing i'll choose one over the other. anyways, i recommend this highlighter to everyone, because well like i said, it's amazing.

Meet Mark!

I'm not much of a make-up girl but my mom got me a bunch of Mark make-up for christmas and I'd have to say I really like it and it is not that expensive at all.  I got 2 different shades of highlighter pens that I LOVE. I use them under my eyes usually or any other place that needs lightened up and they work really well.  Also really like the Cheek Stain that is pretty amazing too..anyways, I really liked those few things and everything else from Mark so I suggest it to everyone.

Vitamin Water=The Bomb

I am guilty, like most people, of drinking TOO MUCH POP...now once in awhile i admit i will have a pepsi or a diet mt.dew when I need flavor but I got to thinking when I am sitting at work each night I DO NOT need to be drinking pop all night. Water is okay after awhile but sometimes you just need a little flavor and caffeine and that's where Vitamin Water comes in. I prefer the Power-C kind but any of them have great flavor, a fuck load of vitamins (duh), electrolytes, and are only 50 Calories with 0% fat. Moral of this story: love me some vitamin water.

I Miss Them Already :(

Last tuesday I went to visit my aunt LuLu and uncle Doug in Kansas City...my cousin Brandi was up with her daughter Julia so I got to spend time with all of them which was really great since I don't get to see them alot.  Julia is just a doll so she was def a lot of fun and my aunt Lulu and I are a lot alike so we always have such a good time.  I have never really had a sister because we don't really talk to my half sister but my cousin Brandi is the closest thing I have to one and it is always great to see her. I only got to see them for about a day but it was worth it, even though I miss them already. Not having vacation sucks.
